  1. Describe the criteria (definition and clinical indicators) for advanced heart failure and its implications for perioperative management (conflicts and concerns).
  2. Outline a comprehensive perioperative management plan for patients with advanced heart failure, including induction, analgesia, use of pressors, fluid management, delirium prevention strategies, goals of care, and disposition.
  3. Review key findings of TTE/TEE to guide perioperative management and systemic venous congestion treatment.
