2020 - 2022 Board Elections

Please place your vote for the following electoral candidates for the 2020 -2022 Mu Psi Board Positions. Although some positions only have one candidate available, a vote is required for the vacant positions according to our by-laws. The voting period will end June 21st by midnight.

* 1. Mu Psi Chapter Candidate for President
Angie Hatley, DNP, MS, RN, NEA-BC, CNL

Dr. Angie Hatley serves as the Chair of Graduate Studies and Assistant Professor at Queens University of Charlotte in the Blair College of Health, Presbyterian School of Nursing. She has practiced as a clinical nurse, educator, and/or administrator and holds multiple certifications. Awards she has received include: Great 100 Nurse of North Carolina, Pinnacle Finalist at Atrium Health, two Touchstone Awards, and the 2018 Evidence-Based Practice and Nursing Research Award from the Clinical Nurse Leader Association.

Halie Cozart, MSN, RN, CNL

My name is Halie Cozart and I am a Clinical Nurse Leader at Atrium Health Lincoln. I have been a part of Mu Psi for the past two years and have really enjoyed being a part of this chapter. I have a passion for serving and helping others and would love to continue to be a board member! I love growing as a nurse and as a person and I think that being involved with Mu Psi is a great way to pursue that passion.

Julie Gibbons, RN, MPH, MSN
I was recently awarded the Mu Psi Research Award for two projects I am working on! I would like to "give back" to the organization. Additionally, through my role on the BSN Qualifications Committee at Queens, I have worked on policy and procedure review/revision and enjoyed the work. In the document describing the roles, it states that this work is a part of the role.

Caroline Hosseini, MSN, CNL, RN
My title is Nurse Faculty II at the Carolinas College of Health Sciences. As an active STTI and National League for Nursing (NLN) member, I attend conferences, participate in service activities, and review journal articles. I have thirteen years of nursing experience and have been involved in nursing education for the past ten years as a unit nurse educator, Clinical Nurse Leader, adjunct and full-time faculty for undergraduate BSN and ADN programs. I earned my undergraduate BSN degree and MSN degree from Queens University of Charlotte.

Brandy Santana, MSN, RN, CNL
Brandy currently serves as a Clinical Nurse Leader on a neuro-surgical inpatient unit. She has served as an active board member of the Mu Psi chapter for 2 years participating in various community and chapter activities. Her contributions to the chapter have helped to increase the chapter membership and impact in the community.

Karrie Love, MSN, RN, CNL
Karrie is a Clinical Nurse Leader on a step-down trauma unit. Her career experience spans many positions such as nursing administration, clinical nurse, CNL, preceptor, mentor, etc. She has served as an active board member of this chapter for more than 4 years. Her contributions have resulted in successful chapter induction ceremonies, fundraising events, and community service opportunities.
