Kansas City Parks and Recreation values your feedback as we navigate the master planning process. Your input from past public events and surveys has been instrumental in shaping this final design.

Currently, the number one priority is safety throughout the park—increasing positive activity within the park for people of all ages and backgrounds.

The Blue Valley Park Master Plan recommends amenities and Parks programming that would put more eyes on the park. In addition, the plan recommends Parks staff partnering with public entities and neighborhoods to create programming in the park. This plan is a culmination of your ideas on improving Blue Valley Park as shown in the design of proposed playground areas, walking trails, recreational amenities, and social spaces for high school reunions, picnics, and family reunions.
