Measuring the Advantages and Challenges of Practice Within the Anesthesia Care Team from the Perspective of CRNAs
This survey is being utilized as a part of a research study to determine the advantages and challenges of practice under the Anesthesia Care Team (ACT) from the perspective of CRNAs, particularly on decision-making. This research takes on more importance since the education of CRNAs has continued to evolve in length and scope with the move to the doctoral degree level.

The purpose of this survey is to evaluate how CRNA’s report that they believe their perspective is valued and supported, particularly during the decision-making process within the ACT.
You may tire from answering questions or become uncomfortable when answering questions. The data collected will remain confidential as only the professors associated with the survey will be viewing and interpreting the data gathered during the survey. There will be no identifiable information obtained in this data. Information will be presented as a aggregate of final data with no singularly identifiable responses.
Knowledge of how CRNA’s report their perspective is valued and supported, particularly during decision making within the ACT is takes on more importance since the education of CRNAs has continued to evolve in length and scope with the move to the doctoral degree level. CRNAs participating in this survey will help the researchers understand their perspective regarding decision-making within the ACT and the compiled data will be useful as the Nurse Anesthesiology profession advances toward future full practice authority. The benefit to society of CRNAs attaining full practice authority rights will be better prepared healthcare providers, improved patient safety as access to care will be increased in rural and underserved patient populations.
