In October, the Board Of Education commissioned a Homework Study Committee to research the homework practices of the Hebron Public Schools and make policy recommendations.  Multiple stakeholders representing the interests of parents, teachers, administrators and the BOE have been selected to participate on this committee, which will research and synthesize its findings in a formal report to be presented to the BOE in June 2018.  The recommendations will be guided by the following research elements:
  • Scholarly research regarding the impact of homework on:
    • Student Learning
    • Family Engagement
    • Teaching Practice
  • Stakeholder feedback reseach from:
    • Students
    • Teachers
    • Parents
  • BOE policy practices from various school districts
As we seek to develop our homework policy recommendations, your feedback is very important.  Our goal is to provide policy recommendations that reflect the interests of our stakeholders.  Please take a few moments to complete this 5 minute survey.

This survey window will close on Friday, March 30th.
