Thank you for your interest in applying to participate in the 2018-2019 Twin Cities Greater Metropolitan Workforce Council (GMWC) Sector Skills Academy. Application Deadline

The GMWC Sector Skills Academy application deadline is Friday, April 13, 2018 at 5:00 pm CT. No late applications will be accepted.

Applications will be reviewed by members of the GMWC Sector Skills Academy planning team. Leaders from the GMWC will approve selection of the final cohort. All applicants will be notified of the status of their applications by April 27, 2018. There is no fee for participation.


The materials for submission include:

1. A completed application submitted online

2. A short biography (to be used for the announcement of the GMWC Sector Skills Academy 2018-2019 cohort)

3. Signed “Commitment to Participate” Form linked here
