2019 BuzzFree PROMises Dress & Suit Giveaway Registration

BuzzFree PROMises Dress & Suit Giveaway is a free, fun, and interactive event providing an opportunity for area high school juniors and seniors to obtain free prom attire. Over 2,000 dresses and suits/tuxes are available for selection (many new with tags!) and every effort has been made to have current styles in all sizes. (However, the event planners cannot guarantee that everyone will find a dress, suit, or tuxedo to their liking and in their size).

The morning will begin with a fashion show/entertainment and keynote speaker and then break into smaller groups. During various breakout sessions, participants learn about issues teens are facing today, particularly the risks and consequences of underage drinking, binge drinking, and drug use. At the end of the event, students are asked to sign a pledge to be drug- and alcohol-free and to reflect on what they have learned during the day. Time is designated for dress and suit selection and will be staggered throughout the day. Lunch will be provided. Besides the free prom attire, goody bags and door prizes will also be given away.

(Participants are required to attend the entire event and late arrivals are not permitted)

Please bring a photo ID for proof of registration (student ID or driver’s license) if at all possible.

Parents may attend the event, although it is not required. Parent sessions are available (including those for Spanish speakers) and they may assist in dress/suit selection. However, for the respect and privacy of all attendees, only females are allowed in the dress area and only males in the suit area. In other words, moms are not able to assist their sons in the male suit area and dads are not able to enter the dress area. Participating adults should sign in at the event and attend the full day of parent programming.

Other individuals, including siblings, that are not registered for the event cannot attend and will be asked to leave.

By registering, you acknowledge that any photographs or videos taken at the event may be used for future marketing materials or social media promoting the event.
