PLANNING FOR OUR FUTURE COMMUNITY NEEDS

Dear Friend / Neighbour,

Over the coming years our numbers are going to swell with new homes planned across the parish. With work on new homes behind the school expected to start next year, the Parish Council and Sports and Social Club have agreed that this presents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to think about our sport, leisure and wellbeing needs.

Representatives of the Sports and Social Club and Parish Council have been meeting recently to kick off this project, identified as a priority through the community consultation events for the draft Neighbourhood Plan. We want everyone to have their say in the future shape of our sport and leisure facilities to ensure that all age groups and abilities served with high quality facilities and equipment.

This initial survey is designed to get the journey started, by asking you about your household, the sports and leisure activities you participate in now and what facilities you may wish to see in the future.

Also the Sports and Social Club wants to know your views, either as a member or a non-member to help it evolve meet your aspirations.

So please speak to the other members of your household and let us know your thoughts. This survey will run to the end of the year and we plan to present the initial findings back to you in February next year.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to respond to this survey, and helping to shape to sports and leisure facilities of the future.

The Sports and Social Club has donated 2 bottles of champagne, one each for winners of two prize draws-one for the paper version and one for the online version. To be drawn after the deadline on 31st Dec.

The information you provide will be treated confidentially and respectfully. It will only be viewed by 2 people, Sports & Social Club and Parish Council representatives who will work together to collate and present the results in a format that preserves anonymity.
