WALES: As of 10 November 2025 the whole of Wales became a Bluetongue Restricted Zone. This means there is free movement of livestock between England and Wales.
ENGLAND: As of 1 July 2025 the restricted zone for bluetongue (BTV-3) has been extended to cover all of England. You can move animals within England without a specific bluetongue licence or pre-movement test.
