Bennie G. Thompson Delta Leadership Initiative 

At Last, a Program that Gives Grassroots Community Leaders the Power to create new solutions to old problems in the Mississippi Delta. 

The Bennie G. Thompson Delta Leadership Initiative is a comprehensive, grassroots leadership development initiative powered by the Reuben V. Anderson Institute for Social Justice at Tougaloo College in partnership with the Socially Disadvantaged Farmers and Ranchers Policy Center at Alcorn State University.

To apply, please complete the Application linked below.  Applications are accepted year round but only 5 cohort out of a class of 20 will be accepted to participate in the funding opportunity of $15,000.00. Review of applications, interviews, and selection of class participants will be completed with notifications made 

December 31st prior to the first seminar in January 2021.
