Adventure Guide: Lead our groups to each activity and help reinforce the lesson during each rotation. Youth group helpers can also assist in this role.
Bible Storytelling: Help our explorers discover the bible through hands-on stories, experiencing them in fresh and exciting ways. Plan storytelling experiences with drama activities, decorations, costumes, props, etc. Lead activities at the Storytelling rotation. Recruit actors and helpers, as needed
Music: Music volunteers will get the opportunity to learn our VBS songs as well as the motions to each song to guide the explorers along. We will also need assistants to help run the videos or music equipment, turn on microphones and play the songs for our music gatherings and rotations.
Crafts: Craft leaders and volunteers guide our explorers in learning more about God’s love through crafts. Children will be able to connect each craft project with the lessons and verses. Craft leaders and volunteers will facilitate each craft and oversee the fun and guide the kids through this creative time.
Recreation/Games: Our explorers will need some time to learn about God’s amazing strength through play! Rec leaders and assistants will help with organizing, explaining, and leading our explorers in games.
Meal Team & Food Donations: Explorers will need to replenish their energy levels! Meal team volunteers will be responsible for preparing and serving meals before VBS kicks-off at 6pm. We would also love Sunday School classes to consider donating a meal one night!
Decorating Team: Those who love to decorate and create will enjoy this volunteer role!
Youth Helpers: You bring excitement and energy to VBS and help our explorers get excited about learning the Bible. You’ll get to play with the explorers and participate in helping them with the activities each day.
Nursery and Toddler Volunteers: Volunteers’ children will be able to experience their own Nursery or Toddler sized lessons. These groups will not rotate for activities. Share God’s love with our smallest explorers with stories, music, and play.
Security Volunteers: Using the church security system, you’ll ensure our explorers are safe at all times.
Photographer & Memory Capturer: Team of 1-2 to capture super memories of VBS and compile into a slideshow.
