Bridging generations: Understanding surgeon’s values across generations

You are invited to participate in a research study exploring how personal values are prioritized across individuals and groups. Understanding personal values is key to bridging generational differences in how we learn, teach, and collaborate.

Definition
In this study, values refer to what people consider important in life and work, as well as the principles that guide their attitudes and decisions across different situations.

Study purpose
We aim to understand how personal values vary across generations and cultures, and what this could mean for the future of surgical education worldwide.

Study procedures
If you agree to participate, you will be asked to complete an online questionnaire. The survey includes questions about personal values and a short section on demographic and professional background information. Completing the survey will take approximately 5 minutes.

Participation

Your participation is completely voluntary. You may withdraw at any time by closing the survey. Your decision to participate or not will not affect your relationship with the researchers or affiliated institutions.

Data handling & processing
Your responses are anonymous and no personally identifiable information is collected with this survey.
The anonymous data will be securely stored and used only by the research team for scientific analysis and publication in academic or professional outputs. Individual responses will not be identifiable in any reports or publications.
