In the Fall of 1987, Tulane initiated the nation’s first mandatory pro bono program for the benefit of those members of our community who might not otherwise have access to justice--the underprivileged and the underrepresented.  Our students are required to perform a minimum of 50 hours of pro bono service with organizations or attorneys who are engaged in qualifying work. However, our students generally serve more than the minimum required!  If you would like your organization or pro bono law-related service to be considered for student placements, please submit this application.
