“Wellbeing” is an umbrella term that includes every aspect of our lives, but it can be simplified into 5 main categories: physical, financial, career, community, and social. How we are functioning in each of these areas determines our total wellbeing. Below is a brief description of each area of wellbeing.

Career Wellbeing: You are engaged in your daily tasks and feel productive. You feel that you have the training and resources needed to perform your job well. You find meaning in your work and feel that you make positive contributions.

Community Wellbeing: You feel safe and secure in your home. You support your community and participate in local events and initiatives. You feel a sense of pride or belonging to your community.

Financial Wellbeing: Your basic needs are met and you have confidence in your financial future. You effectively manage your finances, spend wisely and feel secure. You give to others according to your interest and ability.

Physical Wellbeing: You make smart choices about nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress. You have the energy to carry out daily tasks. You feel you have the resources and tools to successfully manage your health and reduce health risks.

Social Wellbeing: You have close relationships that positively impact your health and happiness. You surround yourself with people who encourage your development and growth, accept you for who you are, and treat you with respect.
