Balonne Shire Council invites land managers and our communities to provide input into the preparation of the updated Biosecurity Plan 2026-2031 and Stock Route Management Plan 2026-2031.
The Plans set Council’s objectives and management strategies for the next five years and outlines Council, user and land manager responsibilities. Survey questions on Biosecurity address priorities and management of pest plants and animals. Feral Animal Special Rate questions consult whether you wish the scalp bounty, baiting, and feral animal management to continue under the special rate or to move to a limited service with bait provided on a user-pay basis. Stock Route Management questions addresses use and management of the stock route and facilities.
