Violent Crime Service Overview

This one hour training session provides an overview of the Biology Violent Crime Service for police officers in Ontario who utilize CFS services.  The session will identify the difference in results required at the investigative stage of a case versus the litigative stage, and will provide case studies that highlight the importance of contextual information in the interpretation of results. 

By the end of the session, participants will demonstrate knowledge of the pre-submission assessment process conducted by the Forensic Biologist, and the subsequent work agreement generated.
