Reopening School Survey

Dear Wornick Community,

As we prepare for next year, we are seeking to gain a better understanding of our families’ readiness to return to in-person learning. We would greatly appreciate it if you could take a moment to fill out this survey to help us in our planning.

We know how hard it must be to answer many of these questions since the specifics of our reopening plan are still being developed pursuant to recently published guidelines from the CA Department of Education, the CA Department of Health, and the San Mateo County Office of Education. We will have more information to share with you during our town halls in July and a final reopening plan by early August.

As a reminder, based on the information we currently have, we are planning on having school every day for every student while practicing extra health and safety precautions, enforcing the wearing of masks, practicing social distancing, avoiding gatherings, and implementing scheduling adjustments to adhere to county and state guidelines. Our plan will include a hybrid parallel track for families who are unable to send their students to school or are nervous about sending their students to school. We hope that the hybrid model replicates the live classroom experience as best as possible.

Answering these questions does not lock you into any learning mode or option for next year. With all of that, we would appreciate you sharing your answers with us about the following questions:
