Question Title

* 5. Our existing swimming pools were placed in service during 1974 and 1989. The estimated useful life of large pools is 25-30 years. Due to continued and sometimes costly maintenance, ours have exceeded expectations. We are planning a comprehensive upgrade, including rebuilding pool structures and facilities.

A committee comprised of residents and staff has been formed. The committee has already met several times to discuss our aging swimming pools, their replacement and potential enhancements to replace the existing aquatic areas.

We are open to YOUR suggestions and WELCOME them. The goal of this survey is to gather resident feedback about what main features are desired for the Glick Road Pool Facility. The committee has brainstormed many ideas, but, we need your help. Just a few of the ideas mentioned are in-pool fountains or waterfalls, a tanning ledge or bench built at the edge of the pool, a zero entry, replacing the ladders with steps for easier access, additional shade structures, a climbing wall in the dive well, and many more excellent ideas. Please understand, we may not be able to incorporate every idea. We want to know what features are most important to you and not limit you to only the above-mentioned ideas. We will review all suggestions while considering budgetary constraints and legal recommendations.

This is just the starting point. This early feedback will assist the Pool Committee and the Board of Directors to determine possible design choices. As we proceed with the process, we will be reaching out with a more detailed survey and with in-person meetings to solicit additional input.

Please help shape the future of the Glick Road pool complex by listing your top 5 features. These could be features that you want to see maintained, eliminated or added.
