Throughout the remainder of 2026, the Geelong Falcons have three exciting community representative programs kicking off soon as part of our regional pathway - the Futures Camp, Barwon Region Showcase & V/Line Cup.
Futures Camp (29 June)
The Geelong Falcons’ ‘Futures Camp’ is an introductory one-day development camp for talented junior players in the Barwon region.
Invited players will spend the day with our coaches, staff and players going through different elements of what it takes to be a Falcon. The camp is designed to give a better understanding of the talent pathways before the formal entry point and aid in the player development journey.
Barwon Region Showcase (1 July)
The Barwon Region Showcase is a representative program delivered by the Geelong Falcons with AFL Barwon to provide an opportunity for talented players in the Barwon region to compete against each other in a day of games.
V/Line Cup (21 - 23 September)
The V/Line Cup is Victoria's premier under 15s championship competition for country boys and girls footballers.
For many Victorian country footballers, coaches and officials, the V/Line Cup provides a pathway to higher level talent programs such as the Talent League and for some it is a step towards a career in the AFL or AFLW.
The 2026 carnival is being hosted by the Gippsland region.
Coaching Opportunities
These programs not only provide an opportunity for players in our region but also ambitious and talented coaches. Below is an expression of interest form for coaches interested in a role in the Barwon Region Showcase and/or V/Line Cup.
Closing date for submissions is 5.00pm on Thursday 18 June 2026.
