The purpose of this survey is to gather valuable feedback from the community members, teachers/staff members, parents and students of Carlstadt, East Rutherford and Maywood as a key component of a strategic post-referendum review (as per C-ER Becton Regional Board Goal #1, accessible here). Expand existing high quality Special Education Programs in order to keep our Wildcat students in our community
Hands-on Certificated Vocation & Trades Programs to give students other career opportnities beyond traditional college/university
Advanced STEM, Tech and Engineering Labs & Programs
Expansion of our Visual, Performing, Fine & Culinary Arts
A second, Regulation-Sized Gymnasium (including indoor batting cages, added wrestling areas, etc.) for high school and community/recreational use
The total cost of the March 8, 2022 Becton referendum was $57 million dollars. This included a shared cost between Carlstadt, East Rutherford and Maywood and an average household tax impact of $14 a month for Carlstadt and East Rutherford residents.

In a further effort to gather valuable community feedback, we are interested in hosting a virtual "Listening Tour" and various focus groups in which our district leaders can take a step back and listen to feedback and suggestions from our community.
