You are being invited to participate in a research project by Dr. Do Kyun Kim from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. This study will be conducted to investigate the level of public trust in Artificial Intelligent (AI) Humanoid Robot Doctor that we may have in the future. You were invited to participate in this study by reading and clicking an invitational message leading you to this online survey.
You will be asked to answer questions regarding how you perceive AI humanoid robot doctors. It will take you about 5 to 10 minutes if you chose to complete the survey.
You are under no obligation to participate in this research, it is your choice whether to be a part of the study or not. You may decide not to be a part of the study and even if you have accepted the questionnaire and have begun to fill it out you may stop and leave the study. Just close the window of survey website. There will be no bias or penalty from this agency, the State of Louisiana or the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, if you decide not to participate or if you decide to stop participating in the research.
There is no particular benefit to you if you participate, but the researchers may learn how people perceive an advanced technology (AI Robot) in a medical condition. This project may allow important research to be done for social adoption of advanced technology. The major risk to you is the time consumed while taking this survey.
The results of this research will be published in a professional/academic journal after it has been completed but no personal information about any of the people who were included will be part of any of the reports. The forms you are filling out today and the form you will complete will be destroyed after all the data has been entered into analysis. From this you will know that we do not have your name on file with your forms.
