A Survey Based Study on Approach to Brain Metastases from Primary Lung Cancers and/or Melanoma.

You are being invited to participate in a research study.

The purpose of this study is to document the practices and approaches of medical/clinical oncologists practicing in Canada/the US and other parts of the world, who treat PRIMARY LUNG CANCERS and/or MELANOMA with regards to brain metastases. 

This study will assess the variations of practice and investigate the role of a number of factors that may influence these decisions. 

Completion of the survey implies that you have agreed to participate in the study and the use of your data for research purposes. Your participation is voluntary. You will be reimbursed for your time with a Starbucks gift card in the amount of CAD$10. In order to receive the gift card you will need to provide your email address.

Your data may be used for future publications. Your name and personal identifiers will not be collected or appear in any publication. Once submitted, you will not be able to withdraw your data and they will be stored in digital format at Princess Margaret Hospital for 10 years.  

This survey is estimated to take 10 minutes to complete. 

The questionnaire has 5 parts:

Part A: Demographics
Part B: Approach to Brain Mets
Part C: Primary Lung Cancers with Targetable Oncogenic Driver Mutations (EGFR & ALK).
Part D: Melanoma with or without BRAF Mutation.
Part E: Comments
