1. A shared vision and strategy for the communities of Templemore, Rathdowney and Urlingford.

TRU Way, Defining Our Place aims to create a shared vision for Templemore, Rathdowney, Urlingford, and the surrounding villages and hinterlands. The project is a cross-county, place-based partnership, with the partners dedicated to co-creating opportunities for the communities they serve, enabling people to make the most of their lives and the places they live. TRU Way is taking place within the broader context of the Just Transition towards a climate-neutral economy that is fair, equitable and inclusive. Three Local Development Companies coordinate TRU Way. It is led by Connect Laois with the support of Kilkenny LEADER Partnership and North Tipperary Development Company through a partnership approach. The process is facilitated by Workhouse Union, in collaboration with Prescience. We'd love to hear your ideas on how to make the area and your community a better place for all in which to live, work and socialise. Tell us what is important to you and what you think needs to be done to make this happen. Please get involved, be creative and make your voice heard!
