It's time to recognize business and professional excellence in Nassau County!

Business Leader of the Year Nominees must meet the following criteria:
  • Current member of the Chamber of Commerce or a representative of a Chamber member business or organization for at least one year (membership must have started by September 2024 to qualify).
  • Actively involved in the Nassau County community. Please add examples in the narrative
  • Contributes to or promotes the goals of the mission of the Chamber of Commerce written below.
  • As long as all other criteria are met, all ages are now eligible for this award.
Submission Criteria:
  • Self-nominations and nominations of others are allowed; Nassau County Chamber of Commerce Board members cannot self-nominate.
  • Responses must be limited to the space provided below.
  • Business of the Year & Business Leader of the Year awards are reserved for for-profit businesses and representatives only.
  • Content or narrative for each nomination must be no less than 50 words to be considered; nomination narratives with one word or just the name of the business will not be accepted and deemed ineligible.
Nominations must be received by Thursday, October 30, 2025.

Nassau County Chamber Award recipients will be chosen from among the qualified nominees by a weighted vote of the Chamber Board of Directors, a select committee, and Chamber members.

The Chamber will provide leadership that aggressively promotes responsible economic growth, employment opportunities, responsible government, excellence in education and quality of life.
