The Parole Board of Canada (PBC) and the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) are conducting a survey to learn about your experience with the services we recently provided to you as a registered victim of crime. Our goal is to improve the way we work, so we can better meet the needs of victims.

This survey is being conducted between August 1 and November 30, 2022. Please only complete this survey once. The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to finish. If you need to take a break, your device will save your responses so you can come back to it later.

About the PBC and CSC
Both the PBC and CSC provide victims of federal offenders with information and services to facilitate their participation in the federal corrections and conditional release systems. We are committed to upholding victims' rights under the Canadian Victims Bill of Rights.
  • CSC provides services to victims of offenders serving sentences of two years or more. We are always seeking ways to improve the services we provide to victims and aim to treat all victims with fairness, respect and dignity.
  • PBC works continually to ensure that improvements are made in the information and assistance provided to victims and those attending hearings, in the spirit of openness and accountability, and to contribute to better public understanding of the conditional release decision-making process.
You may answer as many questions as you choose, and responses are anonymous. Results will be reported as a whole and not linked to any individual. We do not release any information that identifies an individual or group without prior permission, pursuant to the provisions of the Privacy Act.
