Jockey Club Engage Digital Exploration is the pathway for NGOs to learn and leverage digital tools and techniques to effectively communicate with their stakeholders.


What is the Beneficiary Outreach Series about?

 In this half-day Equip session, you will:
  • Learn about the benefits of beneficiary outreach and the range of opportunities
  • Adapt a framework for a communications strategy to engage beneficiaries to support your NGO's goals
  • Practice how to craft your messages for beneficiary outreach using empathy maps and the think/feel/do framework

1st Session (EQUIP)
Date & Time: 4-October-2019 (Fri) 9am - 2pm
Venue: 201, Pico Tower, 66 Gloucester Rd, Wan Chai

1st Session (EQUIP) is a half day beginner training for all NGO teams. 6 NGO teams will be selected to move on to 2nd Session (BUILD)

2nd Session (BUILD)
Date & Time: 18-October-2019 (Fri) 9am - 5pm
Venue: 201, Pico Tower, 66 Gloucester Rd, Wan Chai

It is a full-day training that covers a deep dive in strategic communications, visual storytelling, tips/skills using social media, etc. 
At the end of this session, there will be three winning NGOs who receive awards for free professional video production services worth HK$80k, $70k and $60k.


Implementation
For the video award winners, a kick-off meeting will be arranged within two weeks after the BUILD with the video production house.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this program, the NGO must :
  • be a tax-exempt entity under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance of Hong Kong
  • have significant local services in Hong Kong
Priority will be given to the NGOs who are able to form a team of 3 members and committed to both Equip and Build sessions.
