Growing with Children's rights - National Practices
We’re interested in your good practices
The Council of Europe and the Croatian Government are organising a mid-term review conference on the implementation of the Council of Europe Strategy for the Rights of the Child (2012-2015) “Growing with Children’s Rights”, on 27-28 March 2014. One of the conference objectives is to take stock of progress achieved within the first two years of implementation of the Council of Europe Strategy for the Rights of the Child (2012-2015) and to exchange good practices of successful national and European initiatives in recent years.
To help us in illustrating progress and concrete results we are interested in good practices and initiatives from your country and/or organisation, in particular on the following themes:
- Child friendly services and systems: child friendly justice, child friendly health care, child friendly social services; children in sports, culture, recreational and youth activities; - Combatting violence against children: sexual violence, trafficking in children, corporal punishment, gender based violence, domestic violence, violence in schools; - Children in vulnerable situations: children in alternative care, children with disabilities, children in detention, migrant children and children on the move, Roma children; - Child participation: democratic citizenship and human rights education, education on children’s rights and information, children in the media environment, children and the Internet
We would be grateful if you could submit your good practices through filling out the form, on the above-mentioned themes.
Your contribution will be compiled in a booklet together with other good practices which will be available to the participants of the conference. Your contribution will also be part of a larger collection of national practices for the whole Strategy implementation period.
