We would like to get your feedback in regards to running the 2020 Curling Season. We will be having further discussions based on your feedback, as well as implementing the guidelines from Curl Sask. Please read about the following changes we will be implementing to ensure your safety.

1. Covid-19 Waiver: All curlers will be required to sign a Covid-19 waiver form this year.

2. Social Distancing:
a. Floor Markers - We will be installing markers on the floors to help ensure proper distance between patrons.
b. Traffic Flow - We will be installing arrows and markers on the floor and ice to encourage a proper traffic flow. See 'New Traffic Flow' in the on ice section.
c. Sanitization stations - We will be purchasing hand sanitizer and will have them available throughout the rink
d. Staggered start times - We will asking curlers to show up to their designated start times to split up the amount of people in the lobby at one time. We are also considering alternating starting ends. Odd numbered sheets start at the home end. Even numbered sheets start at the away end.
e. Registration - We are moving registration online to minimize physical contact. We will let you know where you can register online soon.
f. The booth - Only one person will be allowed in the booth to serve drinks. We will be installing a plexiglass screen and the person in the booth will wear a mask. We will ask you to wait on the floor markers while waiting to be served.
g. Buying drinks - We will continue to serve you for the season. We are considering drink cards. These will be purchased in advance, and as you get your drinks we will punch or stamp the card. This will keep our cash handling to a minimum. We will have the bartender pour the mix for you. Pop bottles will NO longer be set outside in the lobby for you to help yourself.
f. Masks - This area is up for discussion and feedback.
g. Spectators - We strongly discourage any spectators this year.
h. Children in the building - We are asking that NO children be present or stay in the building while their parents are on the ice.

3. Changes to Play:
a. Curling Rocks -  All curling rocks (all 16 rocks) will be placed on the left hand side of the rink
b. Sweeping - Only one person can sweep at a time. The opposite skip is not allowed to sweep the other teams rock at any time and must wait in the hack at the back of the house.
c. Discussing strategy - When speaking with your team mates, do not face them, face the same direction
d. Traffic flow on the ice - All traffic should follow Curl Sask guidelines. Move down the sheet using the same side of the ice on all sheets. This will ensure distancing between sheets. (ie. always use left side when facing the scoreboard). We will have signs to remind you which side of the ice to move down on.
