28th Annual TNP Conference Session S50-Prevention Is the Intervention: Anticholinergics and the Risk

The objectives for this session were: 
1) Attendees will express awareness of with epidemiology trends and its impact on our aging population.
2) Participants will be able to cite federal and state agencies that monitor prescribing practices of PIMS--potentially inappropriate medications.
3) Attendees will be able to express how Neuman's System Model of prevention can be used as an intervention to de-prescribe anticholinergics in order to reduce the risk for cognitive decline.
