National Neighbourhood Health Implementation Programme |
Introduction
As explained in the 10 Year Health Plan, Neighbourhood Health is central to the Government’s ambition to shift care from hospitals to community, analogue to digital and delivering sustainable health and care services, moving from sickness to prevention. On 9 July 2025, NHSE / DHSC shared an open invitation to participate in the National Neighbourhood Health Implementation Programme (NNHIP), inviting applications to join the first wave of the programme.
The BMA is keen to understand how well the process of applications has gone. We plan to use this insight to lobby government where the process has not been optimal, and to help support our members and the wider NHS going forward with this first wave, and any subsequent waves. It’s important therefore that we hear from both respondents who have been leading the process in their locality, but also from those who have been engaged to a lesser extent or are indeed unaware of the programme.
The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Thank you for your contribution.
