2023 HFMA Florida Chapter Fall Conference Scholarship Program
The 2023 HFMA Florida Chapter Fall Conference will be held at the Margaritaville Beach Resort in Hollywood from September 10-12, 2023. The purpose of the provider scholarship program is to help defray the cost of attending this conference for members who work for healthcare providers (e.g., registration and lodging). The amount and quantity of scholarships awarded will depend on the funding and any specific underwriting received by sponsors. It is the intent of the Florida Chapter HFMA to award scholarships to as many attendees as possible. Applicants must work for healthcare providers and be active members of HFMA.
Scholarships will be awarded based upon several criteria, including:
- diversity in provider base of applicants
- number of applicants
- available funding and sponsorships
- HFMA volunteer involvement
- description of need
The deadline for submitting your application for consideration is Friday, August 11, 2023. Any scholarships awarded but not utilized may be given to other applicants at the sole discretion of the HFMA Florida Chapter President before the conference. If you are awarded a scholarship, please promptly confirm your commitment to utilize the scholarship so that unused scholarships can be redistributed to other attendees. Scholarship is only available to recipient and is not transferrable. Applications will be processed as received, with all notifications of award or denial communicated no later than Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
