Application Overview
Junior Achievement of Dallas is pleased to offer a local scholarship for $10,000 to a 2027 graduating high school senior who participated in Junior Achievement programs FOR ANY DURATION from elementary through high school. The scholarship can be used at any two-year or four-year college or university. Funding may be used to cover tuition and/or textbooks.
Once awarded, the scholarship will expire on September 30, 2027. Details covering how to receive the scholarship will be in the scholarship recipient's notification letter. This student will be honored as the JA Dallas Student of the Year and will need to attend and speak at the 2027 JA Dallas Laureate Reception and Business Hall of Fame.
Required Application Materials Include:
- Completed general application
- Resume
- Personal Essay
- Letter of Recommendation (Optional)
- Personal Statement Video
- Resume

- An appropriate headshot (ex: formal senior photo).
All materials listed above MUST be completed and submitted to JA Dallas no later than 11:59pm on October 18, 2026. Applications sent after the deadline will not be reviewed. Applicants who submit an application without all required materials will be disqualified. Top applicants will be contacted to conduct an interview with the JA Dallas Board Scholarship Committee for the last portion of the application process.
