Beginning in the fall of 2019, students in Bend – La Pine Schools will be attending school at the following times:
· Elementary 8:00 am – 2:30 pm
· Middle 8:45 am – 3:40 pm
· High 8:45 am – 3:45 pm
This means that many staff members in schools will need to adjust their work hours beginning next school year. A team consisting of leaders from BEA, OSEA and administration known as our District Lead Together (DLT) team is working to determine the best work day hours for employees at each level of school in light of the new student school schedules noted above. Please complete the following as input for the DLT team.
Current standard work days for full-time employees are:Certified Staff:
- Elementary: 8:00-4:00
- Middle: 7:15-3:15
- High: 7:15-3:15
Classified Staff:
- Varies based on location and position
