The Billings Community Foundation, in collaboration with the RMC Community Council, NextGEN young professionals, and local Community Leaders launched the Billings Leadership Network mentoring pilot program in 2017!
The Billings Leadership Network (BLN) creates teams of four – two 1st & 2nd year students paired with a NextGEN professional and a Community Leader – to assist students as they develop connections within the community, explore local careers, and take advantage of the diverse opportunities Billings has to offer.
During spring semester of 2018, the BLN pilot program launched with 64 total participants (32 1st & 2nd year students) and received favorable feedback from all participants – taking the information and suggests received from the BLN Follow Up Survey, we are very excited to improve upon last year’s accomplishments and launch the Fall 2018 Full Year BLN Pilot to inspire mentorship relationships for further student success.
