The newly created Office of Equity and Social Justice at the Town of Reading understands health security to be a key issue and necessary condition for inclusive municipal governance.  Health security being a very broad term, and for the purposes of this particular survey, health security and wellbeing will be defined to include issues of mental health, special needs, developmental disabilities and neurodiversity.

Please note that this is not a climate assessment, but rather an information gathering survey . This survey is designed help the OESJ understand the unique challenges faced by residents, employees, school staff, students and parents, and to appropriately facilitate access, gather resources and engage in conversations with key town stakeholders.
