The City of Windsor is inviting Windsor-Essex charitable organizations to be a part of this year’s Bright Lights Windsor event and take advantage of special programming days. 

Special programming dates starting December 6, 2019 and run through to January 5, 2020. 

Charitable activations could include collecting clothing items, collecting non-perishable food items, activity by donation, i.e. craft/photo station, etc. 

Application Process:
  • Deadline for Applications: October 17, 2019 - 3pm
 
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATING
  • Applicants must be a registered not for profit charitable organization.
  • Applicants must be based in the region of Windsor/Essex
  • Applications will be selected based on lottery 
  • Donations solicited by accepted organizations must be to support local people in need, regardless of race, sexual orientation, religious affiliation.       
  • Applicant must be signing officer to the organization.
  • Accepted organizations must be in attendance at the festival and must staff their own activation.
  • Accepted organizations must only host their approved activation.
  • A covered space will be supplied (10' x 8') for activation.
  • Accepted organizations are required to supply their own table, table cloths, chairs, etc.
  • Accepted organizations will be required to sign a vendor waiver and permit.
  • The City of Windsor will evaluate each application and reserves the right to deny space or individual items in a space that does not meet the requirements or a conflict with another vendor. Any vendor found in violation of the rules may be removed from the event facility.
