ASIP PathFinders Application  for Trainees 2016 - 2017

PathFinders is a mentoring opportunity for trainee attendees at ASIP scientific meetings. It was created several years ago by the ASIP Committee for Career Development and Diversity for the annual meeting at Experimental Biology.  This program is now also being offered for the PISA conference.

This program offers guidance and builds camaraderie between ASIP trainees and regular members and offers guidance to trainees who attend the meeting, especially those who will not be accompanied by their institutional advisor. By leveraging the guidance and expertise of current ASIP members, this program allows trainees to be introduced to the Society on a more personal level and to maximize their conference experience. Trainees are matched with an ASIP mentor (a junior or senior-level ASIP member who is actively engaged with the organization), based on their interests and/or availability.

The answers to this questionnaire will help us make a suitable match to ensure your optimal guidance and participation. More in-depth information will be sent once you have been paired with a mentor.
