Introduction

The Debt Bondage Repair Act (DBRA) Working Group is distributing this survey to assess the challenges and successes of implementation of the Debt Bondage Repair Act of 2022. Numerous challenges affecting survivors' ability to access credit repair have been recorded since the law went into effect, but no national survey has assessed the scope of the issues. The purpose of the survey is to gather experiences from both survivors seeking credit repair and advocates assisting them in applying for repair.

The DBRA Working Group will utilize the findings of the survey to inform advocacy efforts, training for service providers and attorneys, and resources for survivors. At this time, we are unable to offer compensation for participation in the survey.

The length of this survey will depend on the extent of your experiences with the credit repair process, but should take at most 25 minutes to complete.

Once you begin the survey, it will need to be completed in the same browser tab. If you close your browser tab, your answers will not save. When you complete the survey, hit the "Done" button to save your answers and submit the survey.
