Prior to and following each BSO Youth Concert, a limited number of instrument demonstrations led by BSO musicians will be offered to attending school groups of 100 or less individuals. The demonstrations are intended to build personal connections between participating school groups and BSO musicians, offering an opportunity for students to hear directly from a BSO musician on the day of the Youth Concert performance. You must submit your BSO Youth Concert reservation before you can be considered for attendance at a pre- or post-concert demonstration.
Pre-concert demonstrations will take place from 9:15am to 9:45am (available for schools attending the 10am concerts). Post-concert demonstrations will take place from 1:15pm to 1:45pm (available for schools attending the 12noon concerts).
Please note that there is very limited space for these demonstrations - as such, requests will be honored on a first come, first served basis.
