Regional Development Australia  Eyre Peninsula (RDAEP) recognises the importance of our tourism industries current $300 million annual contribution to South Australia's economy and the projection of tourism to be one of the world's fastest growing industries over the next two decades.
There are 3,000 local jobs across Eyre Peninsula dependent on tourism which could rise considerably with some strategic direction and investment. Our rugged, remote and biodiverse environment underpins this industry and its sustainability is a critical consideration.
 
Wayfinding
A good wayfinding system helps to create a positive experience by helping visitors to find what they are looking for and how to get there.
1.Do you think that roadside visitor information hubs which could include free Wi-Fi, public amenities, shade and seating would be valuable additions to our touring routes and towns?
