Introduction

It is expected that there will be a high initial demand for boccia balls which are licensed for BISFed-sanctioned competitions. BISFed is working with the approved manufacturers to help ensure that balls are distributed as equitably as possible to all customers who wish to purchase Boccia balls. BISFed expects that all customers will have their initial requirements at least partially met.

Three of the approved Manufacturers (Poly-Sports, Ree Sports and Gravity) agreed to the following pre-order process suggested by BISFed:
  • 1st June - Deadline to receive orders from Members and the Boccia Community  (reports will be taken on a weekly basis)
  • After the 1st June, orders with these manufacturers should be made directly and will not be given shipment priority for the first delivery phase
  • BISFed informs Members and the Boccia community of the delivery capabilities of each Manufacturer as soon as possible but no later than the 30th of June
  • Manufacturers will indicate the likely delivery schedule for each order, for example:
    • Order will be met by 1st August: In full (100%) / 90% / 80% / 70% / 60% / 50% / 40% / 30% / 20% / 10%.
    • The remainder of the order will be delivered by: 1st September / 1st October / 1st November / 1st December.
  • Members / Boccia community and Manufacturer to engage and finalise order for the agreed delivery process
  • 1st August Deadline of completion of the first delivery phase
