Ramsey County Sheriff's Office Bike Rodeo 2016
Thank you for your interest in the Bike Rodeo that was held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 starting at 10:00 am and ending at 1:30 pm.
Island Lake Park, 3611 Victoria Street North, Shoreview, Minnesota 55126
Bike Rodeos help kids learn about bike safety. The bicycle plays a role in many of the issues facing us today, heath & wellness, environmental concerns and transportation. As more and more Americans rediscover the bicycle, it is critical that all users understand how to safely drive a bicycle.
Just like bicycle education is more than a shove down the driveway, a bicycle rodeo is more than just an obstacle course. It is an efficient, effective and concise way of presenting bicycle safety. The practical aspect of the training is a powerful tool. But most importantly, children have fun while learning.

A Bike Rodeo involves three main components including bike equipment inspection and fitting; instruction on rules of the road and safe riding; and a skills riding course. Approximately one hour is required to complete the session, the Ramsey County Sheriff's Bike Rodeo will have up to three sessions dependent upon registrations.
