ABOUT THE BOSTON HEALTH RESILIENCE NETWORK The Boston Health Resilience Network (BHRN) is a partnership between the Office of Public Health Preparedness (OPHP) and Boston leaders and organizations committed to inclusive emergency communication, response, and recovery to protect, promote, and preserve the health and well-being of the City of Boston. Members of BHRN become trusted partners of OPHP to ensure essential health-related information and services reach people living, working, and visiting the City of Boston who are most vulnerable to the impacts of an emergency.
ABOUT THE OFFICE OF PUBLIC HEALTH PREPAREDNESS The Office of Public Health Preparedness (OPHP) is an office within the Boston Public Health Commission associated with Boston Emergency Medical Services. As a result, OPHP has preparedness, response, and recovery roles dealing with the health and medical impacts of emergencies, particularly for those most vulnerable. OPHP coordinates with health infrastructure such as emergency medical services, public health, hospitals, community health centers, long term care, specialty care, and home care.
