About the California Alliance of Child and Family Services
The California Alliance of Child and Family Services is a statewide association of more than 200 organizations dedicated to improving outcomes for children, youth, and families across California. Our members provide a wide range of services and support to hundreds of thousands of families each year.
The Alliance serves as a collective voice for member agencies through legislative, regulatory, and budget advocacy, while also supporting members with practice improvement tools, policy expertise, and opportunities for collaboration.
Alliance member organizations share a commitment to high-quality, mission-driven services and continuous improvement. To ensure strong standards of care, all member agencies are required to obtain national accreditation through a recognized accrediting body such as the Council on Accreditation (COA), The Joint Commission (TJC), or the Commission for Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
Organizations that are already accredited may join as General Members. Organizations working toward accreditation may join as Provisional Members and must complete national accreditation within three years of joining.
By becoming a member, agencies join a statewide network committed to advancing best practices, strengthening systems of care, and promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of children, youth, and families throughout California.
