As Baptiste Power Yoga leaders, we believe that diversity and leadership go hand-in-hand. Through the Diversity in Yoga Scholarship Initiative we want to invite BIPOC voices into the Baptiste community; we acknowledge that BIPOC voices have been missing and our yoga community needs to be more representative of the world we live in.

Our purpose is to disrupt the drift and create leaders inclusive to all communities.

The specific scholarship is open to individuals who:

Have a desire to spread Baptiste Power Yoga to their community.
Identify as Black, Indigenous, or Person of Color
Who is experiencing economic hardship defined as having a combined household income as less than $40,000.
Lives within the United States.
Is 18 years or older

To Apply:
Complete the application for the actual program.
Complete the application for the scholarship
Write an essay on:
o How is yoga important in your life?
o What impact has yoga had in your life?
o How can yoga can be an agent of change in your community?
o How will yoga teacher training can amplify your voice and leadership?

Applications are due on Tuesday January 5th by 5pm and scholarships will be announced on Friday January 8th.

Do you agree to complete the application for the program and scholarship as well as submit the written essay to be considered for this scholarship?
