Working Together to Move Families Out of Poverty Through Employment

NONPROFIT PARTNER responsibilities include:

  • Participate in the identification of potential clients in partnership with Way to Work for employment and financial coaching services.
  • Partner with Way to Work to provide barrier removal services within the scope of the agency’s mission, policies, and procedures.
  • Communicate with Way to Work staff regarding client needs and progress (Way to Work will obtain written consent from client before information is shared with partner agencies). Share relevant data upon request. Maintain confidentiality of client information outside of Way to Work Partner agencies.

WAY TO WORK responsibilities include:

  • In collaboration with community partners, identify and recruit potential candidates for employment and financial related services through on-site and community events.
  • Conduct a formal intake review for all potential Way to Work candidates to determine service eligibility. Refer any ineligible clients to appropriate support services.
  • Secure written client permission to share private information with partner agencies for service delivery and referral purposes.
  • Deliver job readiness and financial workshops including pre-service delivery criminal background checks and drug screening.
  • Deliver employment, financial and career advancement one-on-one client coaching.
  • Deliver job search services on-site or in partnership with collaborating agencies to include employment assistance, resume development, and access to eligible employer partners.
  • Deliver job retention services to follow the client for 1-yr from date of employment.
  • Provide outcome and/or utilization data as requested.
  • Provide all necessary supplies and computer equipment necessary for the facilitation of employment, financial and Wrap-Around services.
