Thank you for providing your time and talent to support young people who participate in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) related opportunities at your US2020-affiliated program. In order to monitor the effectiveness of the program for the students that participate, and to ensure the future success of the program, we will conduct ongoing volunteer surveys, primarily focused on volunteer satisfaction and engagement. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
All data collected will be kept confidential and will only be shared with the program staff, US2020's lead agency in your city, the local evaluator, and US2020 (www.us2020.org). Data will only be reported to others as group or summary level data. Research findings from this project will be reported to the public in a general way; at no time will any individual be identified in any way. Data may also be used to inform the identification of organizations or companies eligible to win STEM Mentoring Awards. STEM Mentoring Award winners may be publicized at a STEM Mentoring Event in Washington, DC and on US2020 marketing materials including the website. Participation in the survey is voluntary and you may stop at any time.
