What is this survey about?

Adferiad are conducting this public opinion survey to better understand people’s attitudes towards addiction and addiction-related stigma in Wales.

Addiction can relate to drugs, alcohol, gambling, or other harmful behaviours. People affected by addiction can sometimes experience stigma, including negative labelling, judgement, or discrimination, which may affect recovery, wellbeing, and access to support.

This survey explores what people think and believe about addiction, how society views those affected, and what actions could help to reduce stigma.

This survey is open to anyone living in Wales. Your responses are anonymous and will be used to inform our future work to challenge stigma and to improve support for people affected by addiction in Wales. The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete.
