Currently in Ontario, only not for profit childcare facilities can offer care to families receiving subsidy, narrowing the field of childcare options drastically for lower income families and single parents. Should parents who qualify for childcare subsidy be permitted by the Ontario Government to select the childcare setting they wish for their children?
