NCOTA's 2023 Advocacy Day is taking place on Wednesday, March 22 from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm.
There will be a breakfast with legislature at 7:30 AM. We would love current occupational therapy practitioners to come for a free breakfast sponsored by NCOTA to meet with your legislature and discuss your occupational therapy practice settings. The legislative event is open for all practitioners and students after breakfast and we will ensure there are opportunities to participate in meetings or listening to committees from 8:30 AM-2:00 PM.This day is an opportunity to directly connect with your elected officials, educate them on issues facing occupational therapy in North Carolina, and advocate for legislators to support policies which will benefit occupational therapy.
